Ten years have passed since TAPmedia's birth and so have many great advertising success stories.
TAPmedia was started as a media consulting company. We were hired by television and radio stations to help them help their clients succeed with new convergent media solutions, both web and broadcast. We consulted with over 50 media properties as far west as Portland, Oregon and as far east as Parkersburg, West Virginia and we enjoyed meeting new people and seeing new media opportunities evolve as viable marketing solutions for all of our clients.
We grew our convergent media business to a point that became attractive to larger interactive media companies. In 2002 we sold a portion of our company to Broadcast Interactive Media (BIM), then a startup, for a membership interest. Today BIM is using TAPmedia Convergent Marketing Programs and employs over 40 people in Madison.
Today we are helping businesses of all sizes, from small local companies to large global organizations. We assist them in achieving success with insightful new media strategies, compelling design and results-generated account management.
